On the way to Lakes Entrance we stopped at Mt. Drummer and did a rain forest walk looking for the elusive platypus. (of course they remained elusive!!)
A huge spotted gum was hollow inside probably as the result of a bushfire and Laurel could easly stand inside its trunk.
A bit further along, we stopped at McKenzie River and along the trail through the rainforest were several suspension bridges which were fun to walk across and try to make them bounce.
Our rather large motor home was easily dwarfed by the tall gum trees in the forest.
