MALLACOOTA VIC Saturday 2nd October 2010

Here we are crossing the border from NSW to Victoria.

Our next stop was at the fishing port of Malacoota. The camping grounds were on the edge of the lakes and once again we had a great view out the back window.  How exciting to be able to change the view every day!!

When the fishermen returned at dusk, they cleaned their fish at the wharf. The greedy pelicans gathered and you literally had to push them out of the way to walk along the path.

The sunset was superb. Quite a light show from mother nature.

At dawn, the following morning we sat and watched a fisherman motor down the channel, it was very still and the sillhouettes were stunning.

  1. Finally on your way! I'm so happy for you, it seems like such a long time since the motorhome trip discussions back in December. Small query about the camping pitch by the sea; looks to be a fair slope - did they give you levelling gear with the van or did you just deal with the wine slipping off the table by drinking it quicker?
