GERRINGONG Thursday 30th September 2010 /Friday 1st October 2010

This was our first morning view when we woke at Gerringong. The sea was right at our back window. We free camped right on the beach along with another smaller motorhome. After breakfast we set off down the coast towards Eden.

Botany Bay

                      We went and walked all around Botany Bay, and looked at where Capt Cook landed.

                            Then we found a great spot where we just sat and had our lunch looking out to sea

ZIG ZAG

        Sunday we went to the Zig Zag Railway with Chris, Kristie & the boys.

                          They had a ball checking out the trains and hanging out as well

Laurel`s New Car

Friday we looked on the net and then went and looked at just about every car on the market and talked to all different types of the classic salesmen......

On Saturday we went and got the car Laurel wanted...

                                                A Kia Soul 3        So the Cole`s have Soul..... 

And that means the end for the old Peugeot.....and now we have become Kia family....Laurel in the very cool Soul and Dale has gone from the cool sports car to Laurel`s hand me down Rio....(oh how the mighty have fallen)

Cumberland State Forest Walk Sunday 30/05/2010

Sunday was a beautiful sunny day after over a week of rain. So we visited the Cumberland State Forest and had a fantastic day walking all the tracks and enjoying the great views. 

April May

Early in April we went to the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome show.
We knew what we wanted and just had to find someone that builds it. Looked at all the ranges from the big names down to the newest on the market. All shapes, sizes and lay-outs, Some would do what we wanted (for a price) and some told us no you have their layout or find another van.

Checked out all the amazing accessories, sat tv and power systems, all very good. Just wanted to get it all.....









Found the van we want...it is the Talvor Murana and can have everything we want on and in it....
EG20 energy system, sky light in the over cab bed, and painted anything but white....hahaha

 Dales School Reunion over the ANZAC long weekend in April

Dale went to his home town Kandos which is about 3 hours west of Sydney over the Blue Mountains for his school reunion (after 34 years) and we are all turning 50 over the next year..

It was great to catch up with everyone after such a long time of not seeing most of them. Like to say that we haven`t changed a bit ....but we all have. It was strange talking to people that you remember as a teenager and hearing then talk about their children or grand children. Everyone had a fantastic weekend.

Mothers Day.

We went to Tamzins & Johns for lunch , all the Mums, Great Grandma Dorothy, Oma Moorlag (Johns Mum),  Nanny Laurel and mummy Tamzin.   

And then Josh`s soccer games

Went and watched Josh play soccer, he won some, lost some, and drew some, all good fun.

Won`t be like that at Liverpool as the number 1 midfielder in the world......
